Empowering yourself to produce more content is essential for long-term success, and we’ll start by identifying the key elements necessary to achieve this goal.

The principles we will discuss stem from timeless teachings found in the Gospel of John, where profound insights about human experience and connection can be applied to the realm of content creation.

Bethesda: The Special Pool in Jerusalem

In John Chapter 5, we encounter a powerful example relevant not only to faith but also to the way we address our audiences and their needs.

The Scripture tells us about a man who had suffered an infirmity for thirty-eight years, lying by a special pool in Jerusalem known as The Pool of Bethesda, that was believed to possess healing properties.

This pool attracted countless individuals hoping for relief, filled with great anticipation but also deep frustration.

The scene is one of genuine human pain and desperation, mirroring the current landscape of content creators struggling for views in a world saturated by information and digital noise.

The first principle you must embrace to drive more views is to find and create content for people with a BIG pain. Delve into the urgent, pressing issues that your audience faces. The bigger the pain or problem, the higher the likelihood that you will attract significant views.

“And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.” – John 5:5

By focusing on specific pain points, you align your content with your audience’s most pressing needs, creating a compelling reason for them to engage with what you have to offer.

How I Used This to Make Thousands of Dollars a Month

I remember when I would create financial content aimed at helping individuals understand Forex Trading. Despite providing quality information, like getting a 6% return for their investment, my videos fell flat; people simply weren’t engaging.

The root of the issue became clear: they didn’t care about percentages or theoretical returns; they were worried about the money that they don’t have that can help them achieve financial stability and security in their lives. Recognizing this disconnect prompted me to shift my approach.

Instead of discussing investment returns, I began talking about real money.

Instead of making a video that showed people “How to Make a 6% Return”, I switched it to “How to Make $617 a Day”. And this content transformation aligned more closely with their pain points and led to a significant increase in my viewership and revenue, illustrating the power of addressing your audience’s actual pain.

Step 2: Speak to the Pain Clearly

The second key principle to consider is the importance of speaking clearly about the pain in your content. When approached by the suffering man, Jesus didn’t hesitate; He asked a straightforward question:

“Wilt thou be made whole?” – John 5:6

This poignant question encapsulates the essence of engaging with your audience. When you directly address the pain points of your viewers in an unambiguous manner, you will likely find them more willing to engage with your content.

Speaking with clarity about the suffering your content aims to alleviate fosters connection, creating a sense of understanding and relevance that draws viewers in more effectively than vague or technical discussions.

Another fundamental aspect of engagement lies in handling objections. When the man responded to Jesus, he articulated his limitations:

“Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool.” – John 5:7

Through his response, he communicated his struggles and the objections he faced in attaining healing. To effectively engage with your audience, you must also anticipate and address the hurdles or beliefs that they perceive as barriers to overcoming their pain.

Understanding and acknowledging the objections that hold your viewers back will enhance your credibility and build their trust in your content.

Step 4: Offering Solutions

The fourth key to creating engaging content is to offer a viable solution. Jesus did not merely highlight the man’s problem; he provided a clear path to recovery:

“Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.” – John 5:8

In your content, it’s crucial to not only highlight the pain but also to present actionable solutions. Viewers come to your content not just to acknowledge their struggles but to glean insights that will help them improve their circumstances.

By providing practical, accessible solutions, at the end of your content, you empower your audience to take the necessary steps toward healing or improvement, keeping them engaged and likely to return for more.

Equally important is the fifth step: the solution you offer must work. When Jesus commanded the man to rise, he was immediately healed:

“And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked…” – John 5:9

It is essential to ensure that the solutions you provide are not only practical but also effective.

When your audience sees tangible results from following your advice, they will be more likely to engage deeply with your content and share their experiences, driving further engagement.

Building credibility around the efficacy of your solutions sets the stage for increased viewership and trust in your content.

Step 6: The Power of Shareable Content

Once you have provided a strong solution, the sixth principle is to foster simple and shareable content. As we see in the passage, after his healing, the man spread the word about his miracle, highlighting the immense power of personal testimony:

“The man departed, and told the Jews it was Jesus, which had made him whole.” – John 5:15

When people can emotionally connect with your content and witness the positive outcomes firsthand, they are more inclined to share that content with others.

Word-of-mouth referrals and shares are powerful tools for growth, dramatically amplifying your reach and potential viewership.

Step 7: Consistency is Key

The seventh and perhaps most crucial principle is the importance of consistent content creation. After healing the man, Jesus advised him:

“Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” – John 5:14

This teaches us that continual commitment to content creation is vital for sustained growth in viewership. Regularly delivering valuable content not only retains viewer interest but also establishes your authority in your niche and builds a loyal community around your brand.

Never underestimate the power of consistency; it is the foundation upon which successful brands are built. Share on X

Continuous Improvement

By implementing these seven principles, you can not only increase views on your content but also foster a more profound connection with your audience.

When you target their most significant pains, communicate clearly, handle objections adeptly, offer concrete solutions, ensure those solutions are effective, create shareable content, and commit to ongoing creation, you set the stage for success.
