The Little Lies Stopping You From Being Legendary!

Are you tired of making content nobody sees?

Are you tired of being afraid to even make any content, because you know nobody will watch, comment, or share?

Would you like to make content that is memorable, makes you loads of money, and a healthy marriage other’s want too?

You’ve Been Lied Too

Today, I’m going to show you how to overcome the little lies stopping you from being legendary. Let me know which lie in this article held you back in the past, and what you’re going to do, to stop believing it going forward.

These are lies stopping billions of people. So if you stop letting these lies stop you, you will be unstoppable. And I’m going to use the story of David and Goliath in the Bible to show you these lies.

Because you think this was about David and Goliath. But it’s about the lies David didn’t believe, so he could become legendary.

The whole story uncovers so many lies, but I’m going to start at verse 24 and work my way down. At this point, Goliath has come out 40 days in a row and offered to fight any man in a winner takes all battle. If Goliath wins, Israel are servants, if any man in Israel wins, the Philistines are servants.

Goliath was big and strong and packing powerful weapons. Think about the fear Thanos put in people in the Avenger movies.

This is what 1st Samuel 17:24 says,

And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.

Don’t Believe These Lies

Lie number one. I can’t do it because no-one else can. Every Israelite that saw Goliath was afraid. And they passed that fear on to others.

The first lie that many people believe is, everyone else is afraid so I should fear too.

Do you know most don’t record, publish, or make the offer that will change their lives out of fear?

I spoke about this in my recent post about it not being too late for you to be great. One way to stop this lie, is to surround yourself with what I called Believers.

Instead of being around people who believe the lies, be around people who believe the truth. That’s why it shouldn’t surprise you when I tell you, David wasn’t around all these fearful soldiers…

David was not around these fearful people who all believed the lie. So when the lie came, it was like water off a ducks back.  David was like “This aint for me!

Just because everyone else can’t, doesn’t mean you can’t. In fact, there are things only you can do. Let me say this again…There are things only you can do, that no-one else can.

There’s More Lies To Avoid

This is only 1 verse. Imagine when I show you the rest of the lies.

This wasn’t planned, but I’m going to detour for a second and give you another lie free of charge 😀 .

This will help you, especially if life is hard right now. When you stop believing the lie you are not good enough, life becomes easy.

When you stop competing with yourself, to be more like the world told you to be. And you say enough is enough. I’m unique, God made me this way. I accept.

Life will flow, instead of feeling like everything is uphill. Be the person God created you to be. I talk about this in my article on overcoming imposter syndrome. Now lets get back to lies I planned to tell you about in this post.

So David doesn’t surrounded himself with people who believe the lie, so it doesn’t effect him when he sees it.

Look at what the next verse says.

And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, [that] the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father’s house free in Israel.

Your Reward Is On The Other Side Of The Lies Holding You Back

Great wealth, a princess as a wife, and no more taxes. Imagine what it would be like if not only you, but your whole family never had to pay taxes again?

Imagine what it’ll be like, when you make one piece of content, and it changes your family’s finances forever.

There are people all over the world, making one piece of content like this, and getting paid millions for it. But you think that’s not true because of the people you surround yourself with the most.

The whole army of Israel thought killing Goliath was impossible. But not David. It was very possible for him. Killing Goliath is like making one piece of content for David. You think I’m lying, I’m going to show you in a minute, wait and see.

But I want to focus on one lie, because there’s more than one in this verse. The lie is that, one move can’t change your life.

One decision, one presentation, one piece of content. One!

It doesn’t take many moves, it takes one move. I need to overdeliver because I need to get you out of the system because it’s taking you nowhere.

Another lie this verse reveals is, It’s bad, if something good is Lucrative. I talked about how believing this lie cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars in several posts.

The imposter syndrome post, how to make $10k a month. I talk about this lie often, because it’s robbing you every day you believe it.

David did a good deed, and it was very lucrative for him and his family. And there’s too many examples in the Bible for me, not to believe good things lead to lucrative outcomes.

I stopped believing this lie. And this is even clearer as we go to the next verse.

And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who [is] this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

Renew Your Mind

Look at the difference in mindset, between David and the men of Israel.

He focused on what he would get, instead of the fact he was a giant, or everybody else was afraid of him. I want you to catch this so much. What did David focus on?

The reward more than the obstacle. I’m going to go back to when I was in school to help you see this.

One of the classes I enjoyed was food class. We would make cookies, deserts, bread, we would make all these different things. Things we didn’t make in my house. If you’re raised in an African house with your dad and brothers, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

If you come from most African houses you know what I’m talking about. We weren’t making any biscuits.

But imagine, I use to believe the lie something was wrong with me, because most grew up with their mum, and I grew up with my dad? I’m just going to leave that there because, this is about to go somewhere else.

But one thing I loved about food classes, was weighing the food. It was fun. It’s still fun today, to weigh ingredients if I’m making bread or something. Yes, I make my own bread.

It’s the fact that you can do things by exact measure and get a great result. But why did I tell you that story about weighing food? Because a few years ago I decided to weigh every fear, every obstacle I have, against God. I rigged the game to win every time. There’s nothing that will ever outweigh God. And that empowers me to take the actions I was afraid of in the past.

I was afraid to make this type of content, but I weighed it against God.

I was afraid I could never maintain good health and fitness. But then I weighed it against God.

I was afraid more success as a Christian, would cost me my salvation, but I weighed it against God.

Most people spend most of their time focused on the obstacle, that’s the left side of the scales. But like David, I spend most of my time thinking about the other side of the scales.

There is nothing that will stop me or defeat me, when I focus on God in comparison to the thing. David had Goliath on one side of the scales, and God on the other. If you focus on Goliath you lose. But if you focus on God you can’t lose. You win. Don’t focus on the lie, focus on the truth.

What Are You Focusing On?

Focusing on the lie disempowers you. But focusing on the truth empowers you. Look at the next verse.

And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him.

David said things which got the people away from fear, and focused more on the lucrative outcome.

A lie many believe, is that you must sit and dwell in other people’s lies.

When people are afraid, and believe lies around you, you can move away, or change the environment. I want you to know that everything I’ve said so far was to get you to the next verse. So if it blessed you, count that as a bonus.

This is the lie above all, I desire you to stop believing. I’m going to show you the big lie in this verse and jump down a few verses to drive this point home.

This is the time you focus more than before. Look at what the next verse says.

And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.

It’s obvious, David’s brother was one of the men in Israel afraid of Goliath. And he sees his youngest brother and levels him with his words.

David, what on earth are you doing down here on the battlefield? Who did you leave with those little amount of sheep?

The System Programs Us To Believe Lies

The big lie the system actively taking all nowhere wants you to believe, is that what you have right now is little.

Even your family might believe what you have is little, but never believe the lie yourself. Because the moment David took the rock, slung it at Goliath, it sunk into his head, and Goliath dropped to the ground.

And then, David took off his head, David’s brother knew in that very moment, what David possessed was not little.

What you have right now is not little.

People will say “I only have little money, little views, little ideas, little, little, little. It’s a lie. You have much more than you know.

David’s oldest brother wanted David to not focus on everything he had, but what he saw as little.

I said earlier I would show you how David saw killing Goliath as a piece of content right?

I’ll show you now, and why what you have that other’s want you to think is little, is the stuff that will make you legendary…

If, you think about it in that way.

In verse 33 Saul says, David can’t defeat Goliath because he’s too young and Goliath’s more experienced.

That was a lie David didn’t believe, but let me show you why he didn’t believe it. Look at David’s response in the next 4 verses…

And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered [it] out of his mouth. and when he arose against me, I caught [him] by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them. seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

David’s words turned Saul into a believer. From doubt in verse 33, to belief a few verses later.

The little sheep David looked after, were the vehicle for David to go from where he was to legendary. Share on X

David saw Goliath the giant as the next piece of content he created. He killed a lion, that’s content, something he did. He killed the bear coming for his little sheep. And now, David was ready, to kill the giant coming for his sheep.

It’s The “Little” Things That Let You Become Legendary

The little things you have right now are not little. They are the things that will turn you into the legendary person you’re created to be…But only if you see them that way, and not as something little.

Because what you do in secret when no-one is watching, will show up someday soon for all to see. David prepared to be legendary with his “little” sheep, and focused on that, when no-one was watching.

Instead of believing the lie, the sheep he was looking after were little.

What are you doing in secret when no-one is watching?

Stop believing the lies that are stopping you from being legendary, and Go Win And God Bless.
