Separate yourself from god

God made it clear to Moses that he was a jealous God, the only one of his kind. Many other gods were not interested in if they alone were the ones who were worshipped. God separated himself from these gods because they were inferior. Worship me and me alone God told the people.

False gods were/are not in the business of claiming full worship, as they know people would not give them the light of day. This is the main reason many people use to worship several hundred gods etc, they needed as much as they could get.

God decided to set his people the task of following after him wholeheartedly. When rivers were parted, their was no mistake in who to thank. When food and drink were needed no-one uttered the voice of another god and rightly so. God was the one who took the credit because he was proving to the people he was real. The real deal. Finding faith is hard if your trying to put faith in multiple gods. God showed us how to move forward. It was to move forward following him alone.
Separate yourself from foolish worship and give praise to the one true God. This is the daily aim, believe in God, trust him everyday I can and be an example.
