Open gates

Daily Ministration

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”

A few verses prior It is stated “Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.” to acknowledge God is the first step we must take. For those of us who are willing to trust God his gates are wide open. This is exactly what the scripture is saying. The Psalmist is saying, enter into the gates with thanksgiving, why? We should be tankful for the gate is open to us. We should enter the courts with praise. Moving closer to God brings excitement in my life., I know how much God can do for me where I am right now, and it makes me glad that if I am even closer to him, the benefits will be so much more.

When your walking out, or have locked yourself out, it is often misconceived that God has thrown you out. God stands at the door, waiting to entrust you with his name, blood and family. We may have turned our backs on the king but his eyes are still locked on us. It may be pride, fear, torment, whatever it is, nothing is bigger than God. Never feel scared, or ashamed to call on his name. the gate of heaven is open and accessible to all those who put their faith in him.

God Bless
