How To Rebrand Your Business, Life, Or Anything You Want To Change
I want to talk to you about Paul. But who’s Paul? Paul Macartney, Paul Walker, Paul Giamatti. No. He’s greater than them all.
Many people know Paul, but few know Saul. Because Saul changed his name to Paul. The difference between where you are now, and where you desire to go, is taking these 8 steps Saul took to become Paul. Share on X
So I’m going to walk you through the transformation, and show you what you need to do yourself.
Before I read anything to you, let’s start with his name. Saul realised he was not good enough as he is, and he needed to change into somebody new.
He changed his name to Paul.
They Don’t Want You To Rebrand But You Must…
Do you ever find yourself thinking how maybe success isn’t for you? Things never work out for you, they always seem to fail in the end?
That’s because we live in a world, where there’s a system programming you from birth to think this way.
You don’t need to change your name. But you must be born again. The system wants you to take the identity they give you, and then follow it to the end. But the system is leading you nowhere.
That’s why you have billions of people today unfulfilled, living life like they came off an assembly line. That’s because that’s how the system works. But if you don’t want to be like everyone else, you need to accept like Saul did, I’m not good enough right now, but I will be.
Say it…I’m not good enough right now, but I will be.
Become A New Person, Business etc
This can be confusing so let me make it clear. You have everything you need to succeed. But if you don’t know, or use it, you will feel like you lack something. I talk about this in my article on the little lies that stop you from becoming legendary.
Saul became a new person, he became Paul. He turned into the person, he’s created to be. I talk about how you do this in my article on overcoming imposter syndrome.
The first thing you must do, is become a new person.
Rebranding Takes New Beliefs!
Now let’s read about Paul in the Bible, as he shares some of his transformation from Saul to Paul.
I’m going to start at Galatians 1:11. It says,
Galatians 1:11-12
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. [12] For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught [it], but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
He’s talking about his mission to preach the message of Jesus around the world. Paul was so convicted, because he knew this was not from men.
His mission came, when he became a new person.
Saul turned to Paul and his mission arrived.
Have you ever found yourself wondering, questioning, is this what I should do? I’m not sure if I should take my life in this direction?
The reason that happens is because like Saul, the system directs your path where they want you to go. But when you wake up. When you change from Saul to Paul, everything becomes clear.
Paul is so confident about his mission, there is no doubt.
Have you ever gone to a pool and dipped your feet in, it’s colder than you expect, and then you think again about going in? That’s what the system wants you to do. That’s the place of fear and doubt.
That’s why you might take a few steps to leave the system, you record a video, start a blog, buy the program. But the system has done such a job on the world, you don’t run and jump straight into the pool like you should.
Saul wouldn’t do that, but Paul would. When you have that laser focus on your mission, jumping in the pool means nothing.
I’m not Saul, I’m Paul.
Say it…I’m not Saul, I’m Paul.
You don’t need to dip your toes in, you jump right in because you know who you are.
The second thing you must do is accept the mission.
Rebranding Brings Battles.
I spoke about this in my article on how to build a brand like a billionaire. But when you become the new person. And when you accept the mission, something happens.
The system does not want you to become someone new. The system has guided you this whole time, to be who they want you to be. They won’t let you go without a fight.
The system will use your family, friends, anything it can, to stop you becoming somebody new. Because the system knows, if you transform from Saul to Paul, you can now save your family and friends.
But if you don’t change, you’re all going to stay in danger.
Let’s keep reading. Verse 13 says,
Galatians 1:13-14 KJV
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: [14]And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
Saul was successful. Very successful. And this is one of the hardest things to overcome. When you are not doing well it’s easy to accept becoming a new person. It makes sense.
But when you do well, everyone knows you. You’re SAUL.
You know when you make a decision you know is right, but know people might look at you in a weird way, as they don’t understand?
The system wants you feel that pressure and guilt, because it stops you from being born again.
Imagine getting promotion after promotion. But then leaving that place, because you knew, something better for you was out there.
Most people in the system cannot understand. But that’s what Paul did. Although he was famous, he said, I will let everyone question me, and laugh at me, because I know my true mission.
This is why the system is setup today to get everyone to compare themselves to others.
Saul cared about promotion in comparison to others. But Paul cared about completing his mission. That’s all that matters.
How To Rebrand Your Business: Don’t Worry About Others
I have no competition because I’m unique.
You need to believe you are strong enough to defeat the system, because you are. I am strong enough to defeat the system because this is what I’m created to do.
Say it…I am strong enough to defeat the system because this is what I’m created to do.
The third thing you must do, is accept it won’t be easy. But you can do it.
Next Paul says,
Galatians 1:15-16 KJV
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called [me] by his grace, [16] To reveal his Son in me,
that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
He turned from Saul to Paul, accepted his true mission, accepted the task wouldn’t be easy. And this is important. Paul acted immediately.
There’s no time to waste. Today is so important. It’s not too late for you to be great. I speak about this in my article showing you why it’s not too late for you to be great.
Don’t waste another day. Saul wasted days, but Paul acted with speed.
Take steps in the direction. The system has set things up for you, to delay until tomorrow, but that’s how you got here. Move forward today. And don’t take no for an answer in this.
I don’t procrastinate. I act immediately like Paul. Say it…I don’t procrastinate, I act immediately like Paul.
The fourth thing you must do, is act today, don’t delay.
Don’t Seek Validation From People
Paul drops two mind blowing things at one time next. Verse 17 says,
Galatians 1:17 KJV
Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
Paul didn’t need validation from people to act. When you seek validation from anyone other than God, it will always end in bad way.
Paul did not say, I need to go and talk to the people who will be my partners in the future. I’ll tell you why that’s important in a minute. But he acted immediately, without validation from potential partners.
The fifth thing you must do, is not get driven by validation.
But he also said, he went into Arabia. Paul spent time in Arabia preparing. The reason you can overcome the system is because you prepare like Paul did.
Say it…I prepare like Paul did.
Acting immediately doesn’t mean going right into the firing line. But it means taking the steps towards your destiny.
The sixth thing you must do, is be prepared.
Preparing Brings Partners & Profits
Once you’re prepared something happens. Paul talks about this in verses 18-19 when he says,
Galatians 1:18-19 KJV
Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. [19] But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.
When you’re prepared, partnership opportunities arise.
After three years of practising, preparing and promoting his new identity, he was ready to partner.
Three years, ten years, or even one year. The years are not the point.
I’m not going to read it now, but when Paul was ready to partner, the disciples were afraid at first.
And that makes sense. That’s why seeking validation shouldn’t be your first desire. Everybody knew him as Saul. Why would the disciples, or anyone you want to partner with, believe you are somebody new on day one?
There’s only a small amount of evidence.
Rebranding Takes Time…Or It Doesn’t…
You must prove to everyone, you are no longer Saul, but now Paul.
Even after three years people were still afraid of Paul. But his body of work spoke for itself.
It’s not that this always takes time to do. But every successful person is willing to wait, if it does take time. And that’s a powerful mindset to have.
The system is programming billions to expect microwave success. It’s possible, but not the norm. That’s why I say your microwave blessings, are robbing you of your eternal blessings. Share on X
Rebranding takes time, and all the greats are willing to wait for it, if necessary.
The seventh thing you must do, is prepare to partner at the right time.
Building Momentum Is The Key To A Fast & Successful Rebrand
You are unique, you are special. But you’re a piece of a greater puzzle. And this is why what Paul says next is special. In verses 20-24 he says,
Galatians 1:20-24 KJV
Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. [21] Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; [22] And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ: [23] But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed. [24] And they glorified God in me.
Things may seem hard at first like they were for Paul. You may feel like your in a up-hill battle. Nobody believed him and it was hard to get things going.
But as he continued to show the world he was a new person, with a new mission, things changed. It no longer felt like climbing up-hill.
People started to accept the new version. They forgot about Saul and rejoiced over Paul. And that’s when he had momentum, and things started clicking, like never before.
The eighth thing you must do, is accept that rebranding can take time and be ok with it.
Rebranding from where you are now, to where you’d like to be in the future is possible. More than possible. But you must accept that your new beginning must get accepted by people. The same way, your old version was too.
It’s easy to want to become the new you, but still feel guilty, and think there’s no time left for you.
That’s a lie the system wants you to believe. And that’s why you should read the article next that shows you why, it’s not too late, for you to be great.
Go Win And God Bless.
