Create in me a new heart

Psalms 51:10
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

David, In his plea to God seeking repentance asked God for a new heart, David understood that this was the key organ that needed a transplant. The mind is not the key as it follows one’s heart. David knew by replacing his present heart he would no longer desire to live a sinful life. Caught up in the act of adultery and lust he stole another mans life. By being crafty he had Uriah killed and went on with his life. The heart is the key and that is why Jesus came to change it.

Watching the news today and hearing of operations to create artificial heart‘s startled me! The scientist is attempting to take Jesus’ role. The heart cannot be replaced in that way for the better. It was interesting to hear after all the good points as to why this was great to hear that this was only a temporary transplant and could not be long-term.

The heart is Key, get the right transplant

God bless
