Tiredness should win once a day

I would think I get tired about 4 or 5 times a day. This is way too much! There are mornings when I have just woken up and I feel tired and won’t to go back to sleep. My aim is to fight it off and get to work. I don’t do this every day but most days I do. Think about this, if 50% of people roll over and go back to sleep, that is 50% less competition. I was watching something recently talking about business and dominating your sector. The man said competition should be avoided. When there is no competition you have free roam to dominate. In the mornings, everyone is in bed, this is the best time to get up and start your day. In the night-time, when people are going to bed, people are working, this is another time for you to get ahead while people are not working.

I believe that tiredness should win once a day and that is when you go to sleep. I’m not one of those people who says never sleep because that is stupid. The human body is a machine that needs sleep to survive, you must get it but not in excess. Instead of taking excessive sleep and various naps through the day, try to sleep one time. What car will get to the finish line first, the car which stops once and drives consistently to the end or the car which stops and starts continuously? We all know stopping and starting losses rhythm, loses momentum and just stops us from reaching our targets more times than not.

I once found myself overwhelmed with work and I consulted God about the issue. God didn’t say to me stop doing everything you’re doing like most would do, he said to me (paraphrased) “learn to deal with things by planning…” This was not normal planning because I do this already, this was planning on top of planning. Let me give you an example, If you have no time tomorrow (metaphorically speaking) the time you have today is sufficient to do what needs to be done tomorrow. If I feel I will be busy in the future, the time I have free today (now) will be used to do the tasks that are required then.

I know that tiredness is a battle, I fight the battle every day, it is a battle we can win if we want to. Do you find yourself feeling tired at times in the day when you are not doing anything? I find I feel tired when I top doing stuff and start coasting time.

How many times does tiredness win in you day? Contact me on twitter or email and let me know.
