4 Keys to successful business

In this article I want to outline four key things which will benefit any business you start. My points are not my own, I don’t claim credit, I merely learned and passed them on to the next man or women who wanted them. These are principles which apply to business and pretty much anything you want. The four principles come from the Bible and I will outline each point in specific depth.

1. Write the Vision

Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Any real business first has a vision and more importantly writes the vision down. The human body was blessed with a mind which thinks about things and constantly works. Even when sleeping the mind is at work, this is how powerful it is. When a mind is set on something, it only stops to think about other things for a little while and then goes back. The mind is limited in this sense…No-one can read minds and no-one can act based on someone’s thoughts. Due to this reason we right down what we have in our mind, so we can see a clearer picture of our thoughts and allow others to see also. The vision is for an appointed time as God states. We are writing something we want to happen, or expect in the future. The reason it is imperative to jot down visions is due to the fact we think so much and forget things. I remember several times  I have had ideas and then remembered them years later.

The first should always be foundational. Be a visionary but don’t stop there…

2. Part the sea

A visionary has the ability to see when others may not. A visionary is someone who can take this gift and then develop it and churn it into something far much bigger. A visionary is someone who believes things are possible  others do not. Moses was faced with a dilemma, hundreds of thousands in his nation, while the Egyptians charged to reprimand them. Moses did what many couldn’t. As well as believing he had power given by God, he acted upon it. He parted the sea and amazed many. Sometimes the vision you write is not as big for some people as others. Moses took action to another level. Many people will observe your plans, thoughts and expectations and laugh, scorn and put disbelief in you. You are the person who has to act on your goals, no-one else.Writing a vision is one thing which separates you, as many say things and never do it. Don’t stop after jumping the first hurdle, jump over another one by adding food to your thought and action to your written ideas.

3. Walk on water

Parting the sea is one thing to do and this will surprise many people. When you show people you can do one thing and then take your business to another level, you will be building an even bigger business. Jesus walked on water and he wasn’t the only person. Peter walked on water, your business will fuel fire in other people. Others will see your business and want to be a part of it, as well as promote it. Stand out from the pack and be an individual. This doesn’t mean you need to be crazy, you can still be different while being competitive.

4. Kill the flesh

This is one of the biggest things because others will affect you if you let them. If you managed to write a vision down and act upon it, this previous key has no bearing on this current step. People will constantly tell you to change ideas, leave things out and do what they feel is best. You must be able to say no to others and follow out the system which placed you where you are. This doesn’t mean you can’t ask people for advice, it only means do not become distracted by people who do not know what they are talking about. The final point with this key is never limit yourself. just because people limit themselves daily, this doesn’t mean you need to do likewise. The fact you can write a vision separates you from a large list. Don’t limit yourself and try to develop every day.
